Information regarding Fastball Umpire Registration/Clinics
For those interested in umpiring fastball with St. Marys Minor Ball please refer to the information below:

If this is your 1st year umpiring fastball it is highly recommended that you attend a Combined Junior/Intermediate Clinic.

Clinic dates/location can be found on the Softball Ontario website at www.softballontario.ca.  Click on the "umpire" tab then click on "Clinics/workshops" found on the left hand side of the webpage, then click on "Clinic Listings".  Email the contact for the clinic you want to attend and then will advise location and cost.

Again first year umpires get reimbursed 100% of the cost. Every year thereafter is 50% of the cost.  Please get a receipt so that I have something to reimburse you against.

You need to Register with Softball Ontario whether this is your first year umpiring or 20th year.  Everyone MUST register each year.  From the same website after you've clicked on "Umpire" tab then you click on "Registration" tab on the left hand side.  Download the registration sheet and complete it.  Choose Fastpitch - Local Only unless you plan on umpiring competitive fastball.

I can confirm registration via the website.  Unless you're registered you can't umpire as you won't have any insurance.

Hubbard Pharmacy Ltd.
Since 1850, the building at 155 Queen Street East has proudly served the St. Marys community and surrounding areas. The brick-faced stone building which currently occupies the address was built in 1882 by Sidney Fraleigh and has operated as a pharmacy since 1913. The McIntyre family were the pioneers of what would eventually become Hubbard Pharmacy. In the late 1960s, after the McIntyre's, the pharmacy became owned by Al Duesburry and later by Ron Sage. In 1989, upon the passing of Mr. Sage, Hubbard Pharmacy got its name after being purchased by Dwayne and Cathy Hubbard. In 2016 Erin Dunbar became a partner, and in March 2020 Hubbard Pharmacy was purchased by Erin and David Dunbar.
