Jr Rookie Division - Important Info
This email was sent to parents of Jr Rookie aged players on Wednesday, April 17. Most of the players registered will be playing in our Jr Rookie house league. This league will have 4 teams who play each other at East Ward park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30. As with all of our teams, this league is dependent on parent involvement. At this age, the more adult help, the better. We are looking for a convenor and team leaders. The convenor will help to organize the teams and look after this league’s part on the website. The team leaders, along with help from other parents, will lead a team. Please email Candy McEwan at [email protected] if you would be willing to be a convenor or team leader. Jr Rookie house league will begin Tuesday, May 21.

For this age group, we will also have a Jr Rookie WOBA Rep team. This team is designed for those players who are ready for a more involved experience in ball. This team will play in the WOBA league and will travel to other centres as well as host home games. This team is designed for those players who have a keen interest in ball and for families who are willing to commit to the team. If you would like your player to be considered for this team, please email Candy McEwan at [email protected] Depending on the number interested, there may be tryouts for this team. Players on this team do not also play in the house league. Thanks to the parents who have already volunteered to coach this team.

If you have not paid for registration ($100), you can send an email transfer to [email protected] You can also pay using debit or credit on Saturday, April 27 at St Marys DCVI from 9:30 am-11:30 am.

If you have any questions, please email Candy McEwan at [email protected]
