Mosquito Division Information
The following information was emailed to Mosquito division families on Monday, April 22.

For WOBA league play this year, we will be entering 4 teams. These teams will be a mix of 2008 and 2009 players and the teams will be made as equally as possible. Each of these teams will play a minimum 12 game schedule in the Mosquito division in the WOBA league. Game times and practices to be announced.

There will also be the opportunity for some players to be play on an OBA team. This team is an extra – an opportunity for those who choose to play ball that is a bit more competitive. We will have a Major (2008) OBA team as well as a Minor (2009) team. Participating in these teams is a choice and teams will be made by tryouts. More information regarding these teams will come in the next couple of weeks.

To help us determine the 4 equal WOBA teams, we will be holding a couple of practices so that coaches can evaluate the players. These are not tryouts – every player will be placed on a team. Please do your best to attend both practices.

Following is the schedule:   Monday, April 29 – King Field – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm – players with last name A-M         Monday, April 29 – King Field – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm – players with last name N-Z   Tuesday, April 30 – King Field – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm – players with last name N-Z Tuesday, April 30 – King Field – 7:00pm – 8:00 pm – players with last name A-M

Hopefully the weather will co-operate. If not, we may re-schedule to the Wednesday and/or Thursday night.   The coaches will be looking for additional parent help once the teams are made. Thanks in advance for your willingness to be involved. There may also be parents needed to help out with these initial practice times.

A reminder that our Uniform pick up and payment day is this Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 – 11:30 at St Marys DCVI. Please enter through the doors off of Elizabeth St or Rogers Ave.
