Sr Rookie Important Information
The following was emailed to Sr Rookie families on Wednesday, April 24.

You are receiving this email because you have a player registered in Sr Rookie ball. Please review the following information carefully.   For WOBA league play this year, we will be entering 2 teams in the Tier 1 division. These teams will be a mix of 2010 and 2011 players and the teams will be made as equally as possible. Each of these teams will play a minimum 12 game schedule in the Sr Rookie Tier 1 division in the WOBA league. Game times and practices to be announced.

Weather permitting, the players are going to get started next week. Please always refer to the website but for next week, they have practices on #3 at the Hall of Fame on Monday, April 29 at 6:30 pm as well as on Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30pm.   All players will practice together for the first week or so. The two teams will then be determined by the head coaches and families will be notified. At this point, you will be given a practice and game schedule. The two teams have small numbers (which is great). The teams are allowed to share players when needed.

The Tier 1 Sr Rookie WOBA Championship weekend is Friday, August 2 – Sunday, August 4 in Mitchell. Please put this important date in your calendars now as each team will be participating.

A huge thanks to our head coaches who have volunteered their time – David Dunbar and Darryl Hern. I know there are many of you who are willing to help out with the teams. This is essential as this age needs a lot of adult support and help. Thank you in advance for your willingness to be involved to make the season a great one for the boys.

It is our priority to make the teams as equal as possible. We will not be able to honour friend requests or any other requests for a particular team.

A reminder that our Uniform pick up and payment day is this Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 – 11:30 at St Marys DCVI. Please enter through the doors off of Elizabeth St or Rogers Ave.
