In Memory of Mike Reid
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Reid, a beloved and long-time volunteer with St. Marys Minor Ball. Mike passed away unexpectedly on June 1st. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the community have left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

For many years, Mike served as a coach within the St. Marys Minor Ball system, where he mentored countless young athletes, instilling in them not only the skills of the game but also the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. His ability to connect with players and inspire them to achieve their best was unparalleled.

In addition to his coaching, Mike also contributed as an umpire, bringing fairness and integrity to every game he officiated. His keen eye and deep understanding of the sport earned him the respect and admiration of players, coaches, and spectators alike.

Mike’s passion for baseball and his dedication to the youth of St. Marys as a member of St Marys Minor Ball executive was evident in everything he did. He spent countless hours volunteering, ensuring that every child had the opportunity to experience the joy and camaraderie of baseball. His tireless efforts have helped shape the lives of many young athletes and have significantly enriched our community.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the positive impact he had on St. Marys Minor Ball. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Mike.  Your contributions and spirit will never be forgotten.
