Important Updates for the 2025 Season
We have a few important updates to share regarding our 2025 season, including coaching opportunities, registration delays, and OBA tryouts. Please read on for all the details and how you can get involved.

Coaching Opportunities:
St. Marys Minor Baseball is still seeking dedicated and enthusiastic coaches for our OBA level teams in the U9, U12, and U13 age groups. Coaching with us is a fantastic opportunity to help young athletes develop their skills, foster teamwork, and build a love for the game. We welcome both experienced coaches and those who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

However, it's crucial to note that if we do not have coaches step forward for these age groups, we will unfortunately be unable to field OBA teams at these levels. Tryouts will proceed as scheduled, and teams will be rostered until it becomes clear that no coach has stepped forward. If you're passionate about baseball and are committed to helping young players succeed, we strongly encourage you to get involved. For more information or to express your interest in coaching, please contact [email protected] .

2025 Regular Season Registration Delayed:
We also want to inform our community that registration for the regular 2025 season is currently delayed. This delay is due to a recent diamond fee increase proposed by the City. We are in ongoing discussions with city officials to understand the impact of this increase on our program and to determine the best way forward. While we await a final decision, we appreciate your patience and understanding. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

OBA Tryout Registrations Still Open:
Despite the delay in regular season registration, we are still accepting registrations for OBA team tryouts. If your child is interested in playing at a more competitive level, now is the time to sign up for tryouts. The tryout dates have been posted on our website calendar under the "Upcoming Events" section, so be sure to check there for the latest schedule.

Thank you for your continued support of St. Marys Minor Baseball. We're looking forward to an exciting season ahead and appreciate your involvement in our baseball community. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out to us.
